If you need help logging into your supplier's portal to check your order history (or even just finding the right logo on a spec sheet), do that first. Don't be like me—I almost ignored a gut feeling because the numbers were louder. The numbers lied.
In the end, the 'expensive' vendor saved us $8,400 annually on our binding cover line—about 17% of our total budget for that product line. They didn't have the lowest price. They had the lowest total cost. That's the only number that matters in the long run.
